Fifth World Human Rights Moot Court Competition

Dear Colleagues, Greetings from Pretoria. I am very pleased to inform you that the fifth World Human Rights Moot Court Competition will be held at the University of Pretoria in South Africa from 8 to 10 December 2013;
Online registrations are currently open and I would like to strongly encourage your university to register before the deadline which is 28 June 2013.

The Rules of the Competition have been amended.The Section on Team Eligibility should now read as follows:  

3. TEAMMEMBER ELIGIBILITY (New). Each team must consist of two members, each of whom:

  • a) is registered for a first (or ‘undergraduate’) degree in any discipline; or
  • b) is registered for a second (or ‘graduate’) degree in law in a country where law studies can only be undertakenby students holding a first (’undergraduate’) degree.

The new rules approved by the Steering Committee will be uploaded on the website on 4 June 2013.
